Simone Inzaghi has been forced to devise a new tactical plan for his Inter attack due to a lack of players following the international break, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Simone Inzaghi may choose to field a brand new strike pairing that Inter fans have not seen this season or change the shape of the team.

This is because Joaquin Correa, Lautaro Martinez, and Alexis Sanchez will all not return to Italy from South America until either late Friday night or Saturday morning, which is the day of the Serie A fixture against Lazio.

If he chooses to play two strikers against his former club, it is possible that young Uruguayan prospect Martin Satriano will get a chance to impress alongside Edin Dzeko.

The other two options to play in a more offensive role are Ivan Perisic and Hakan Calhanoglu.
