Inter executives have been left annoyed by Marcelo Brozovic as he turned up alone to the contract discussions scheduled for yesterday, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marcelo Brozovic’s agent and lawyer were supposed to meet with Inter to discuss the terms of a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

He instead turned up alone, which means that no progress has been made. It is known that he does want to stay at Inter and the club certainly want him to stay, but they are concerned by how long the process is taking.

If the situation persists and there are no offers from elsewhere for Marcelo Brozovic, they may employ the same tactic that Fiorentina President Rocco Commisso has used against Dusan Vlahovic.

The club will publicly state that he will not be signing a new deal with the Nerazzurri.
