Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi will have to make a last-minute decision whether to include striker Lautaro Martinez in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven when they face Lazio this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who include Ivan Perisic starting in attack as part of their predicted eleven for the Serie A clash.

Martinez is one of the Nerazzurri’s two first-choice attacking players alongside Edin Dzeko, but the Argentine played as recently as Thursday night for his country and Inzaghi could be forced to break up the starting pair.

The 24-year-old arrived in Rome yesterday evening but it is a doubt whether he will be ready to contribute from the start, while the possibility of Hakan Calhanoglu starting as an attacking midfielder could also be problematic because of a bruise to the ankle of the Turkish midfielder, and it is unlikely that Inzaghi would turn to Martin Satriano from the start in such a big match.

For these reasons, the Corriere predict that Ivan Perisic will move into the forward role from his usual wing-back position and start alongside Dzeko in their predicted eleven which is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Dimarco; Perisic, Dzeko.
