Simone Inzaghi will likely have a very late decision to make when it comes to who will start up front for Inter against Lazio this weekend, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Ivan Perisic currently appears to be in line and ready to start as a second striker with the ever-present Edin Dzeko.

He has played that role before but not for a long time. Simone Inzaghi still hopes though that Lautaro Martinez has enough in the tank to be able to start the match and offer his team some extra attacking threat as he has done all season.

He played very recently for Argentina against Peru where he scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win, and then made the flight back to Italy to try and prepare for the Lazio match. It may come too soon for him to start though.
