Inter coach Simone Inzaghi and his Lazio counterpart Maurizio Sarri have decided to field the following 22 players in tonight’s Serie A clash at the Stadio Olimpico, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 CET.

The Inter Milan coach has made a couple of changes to the team that beat Sassuolo 2-1 before the international break, bringing Roberto Gagliardini, Matteo Darmian, and Federico Dimarco in for Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries, and Lautaro Martinez from the start.

The Lazio coach must do without key defender Francesco Acerbi who was sent off in the Bianconcelesti’s match against Bologna, with Patric expected to come in for him.

Inter are currently third in the Serie A on 17 points whilst Lazio are in sixth place on eleven points, after the first seven matches of the 2021/2022 season.

The Nerazzurri have won five and drawn two matches so far whilst the Biancocelesti have won three, drawn two and lost two matches.

Inter are the highest scoring team in the Serie A with 22 goals so far, whilst Sassuolo have managed to find the net fifteen times, with the teams having concede eight and twelve goals respectively.

Lazio lost their last match in Serie A 3-0 away to Bologna while they’d gotten an important Derby Di Capitale win against Roma in their previous match, and drawn against Cagliari and Torino in the two before that.

Meanwhile, Inter have won three of their last four matches in Serie A, with only a 2-2 home draw against Atalanta seeing them drop points.
