Inter could look to bring in Torino captain Andre Belotti in January, with the 27-year-old a possible reinforcement to their attack should Alexis Sanchez leave the club.

This according to Italian journalist Niccolo Ceccarini, who reported in his editorial for TuttoMercatoWeb that AC Milan are the favourites for Belotti’s signature but that the Nerazzurri are also serious about him.

Belotti had reportedly been a target for Inter during the summer transfer window before they moved onto other attacking targets, but they have not lost their interest in him.

The 27-year-old is out of contract with the Granata at the end of June 2022, and he does not look close to agreeing a new deal so could leave the club on a free transfer next summer.

The Rossoneri currently look to be the best-placed club to bring Belotti in next summer, but Inter have not given up on him and could swoop in January in particular to get their man.

“For June Milan are further ahead but also beware of Inter who will have to replace Sanchez,” Ceccarini writes. “As for everyone else, there is also the interest of Fiorentina on Belotti.”
