Inter are set to see two key returns to their starting eleven when they face Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League on Tuesday, with the likes of Lautaro Martinez and Hakan Calhanoglu both likely to start the match.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that both of the pair should be fit enough to play from the start as Inter host the Moldovan Champions.

Martinez had been absent from the Nerazzurri’s starting lineup for yesterday’s Serie A defeat against Lazio due to a lack of rest after his late return from international duty, while Calhanoglu had picked up a minor knock playing for Turkey.

However, each of the duo should be ready to start the Sheriff clash, with manager Simone Inzaghi already having to start considering his team for that match in the immediate aftermath of the Lazio loss.

Chileans Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez are also likely to return to the Nerazzurri’s squad for the match after having been left out to rest them after they returned at the eleventh hour from international duty, but neither are expected to start the match.
