Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi must put his emotions behind him following a difficult loss away to former club Lazio, and move forward with a clear head.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the priority for the Italian tactician is to put the circumstances of the loss out of his mind and focus on upcoming challenges.

Inzaghi returned to the club with which he had been associated for more than two decades as a player and then as a coach when the Nerazzurri travelled to the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.

The coach will have experienced mixed emotions, being given a warm reception by Biancocelesti fans, while he was also coming up against the team of club President Claudio Lotito with whom his relationship is known to have soured after he left to join Inter in the summer.

Inzaghi watched his team throw away an early lead to lose 3-1, and his frustration at what he saw on the pitch will be compounded by the other factors which made the day significant, but his only thought now must be on working towards the matches ahead.
