Juventus head coach Max Allegri expects a difficult game when the Bianconeri travel to the San Siro to face Inter on Sunday.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster DAZN after his team defeated Roma 1-0 at home, the Italian tactician spoke about the challenge he anticipates from Inter when they go head to head next weekend.

Juventus started the season poorly but they have found their form in recent weeks, with their win against the Giallorossi leaving them three points from Inter and keeping perfect starters Napoli from widening the gap over them.

Even though neither the Nerazzurri nor the Bianconeri are at the top of the table, the sense is that the clash between the two could have major implications at the top end of the table and possibly for the Scudetto.

Despite his side’s recent strong form, Allegri is ready for a tough game against Inter, and plans to prepare for quality opposition.

“We’ve made a little step, now we have to think about cementing the passage to the Champions League and then we will think about the San Siro match against a technically and physically strong team,” he stated. “But we will think about it from Friday, since we are back on Thursday.”
