Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic could miss out on this evening’s Champions League clash with Sheriff Tiraspol, as he is dealing with some fatigue.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on his homepage that the 28-year-old will be assessed in training today to make a final determination on whether or not he is ready to start the match.

Should Brozovic be deemed not to be ready to play from the start, then it could be Nicolo Barella who drops into the deep midfield role in place of him, while the likes of Matias Vecino and Arturo Vidal could play either side of him.

Meanwhile, in attack the first-choice pairing of Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to make a comeback playing from the start, while on the right Matteo Darmian is the favourite to start ahead of Denzel Dumfries in the coach’s thinking.
