A former Inter winger has received kind messages from his old Inter teammates after he became the new head coach of the Maldives National Team, according to a report in the Italian media today.
As has been reported by L’Interista, Francesco Moriero is not the coach of the Maldives National Team and will be hoping to raise the level of the side quickly.
Since being handed the role, Francesco Moriero has received plenty of messages from those who were at Inter at the same time as him.
The now 52-year-old explained that ex-Inter goalkeeper Sebastian Frey had got in touch with him to say the following: “When you were playing you were already ahead. You are the most envied coach in the world.”
The ex-Napoli and AS Roma player also mentioned that Beppe Bergomi and Ivan Zamorano had been in touch with him to wish him luck on the new role.
He then suggested that he will be getting visited by his old teammates at Christmas as they look for some sun.
“In December many will come to see me, a full house is waiting for me. But I’m going to play football, I didn’t go for money. So I hope they pay the ticket.”
