Inter are focusing on tieing down their two best midfielders to long term contracts river the next couple of months, according to a report in the Italian media.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter want to complete the negotiations with Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic as soon as possible so that they can bring some stability to the squad.
Discussions have been ongoing with Marcelo Brozovic for some time now as his situation is much more pressing than that of his younger midfield partner.
The Croatian will be out of contract in June 2022 so Inter must find an agreement with him as soon as they can. It is believed the two parties are very close in their negotiations over wages, but the situation still seems to be taking a long time to conclude.
As for Nicolo Barella, the club are confident his head will not be turned by offers from abroad.
