Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is expected to have recovered from his minor fitness injury in time to play a role against Juventus on Sunday night, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

As has been reported by Sky Sport in Italy, the Turkish midfielder took part in training with the rest of the team on Thursday morning in preparation for the big match at the weekend.

Simone Inzaghi granted his players a rest day on Wednesday after the win over FC Sheriff in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

The squad was back at Appiano Gentile on Thursday morning though to prepare for their biggest match of the season so far, and certainly Simone Inzaghi’s biggest since taking charge of the club.

Hakan Calhanoglu played no part in the match against the Moldovan champions but it is believed he could start in midfield for Inter against Juventus on Sunday night.
