Italian football journalist Fabrizio Biasin has suggested that Inter are not actively pursuing a move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti right now, according to a report in the Italian media.

Whilst speaking to Calciomercato.com, Fabrizio Biasin explained that it appears Inter may have other players ahead of Andrea Belotti on their list of potential new strikers.

“Inter are monitoring the situation, but he is not a priority, maybe there is someone up ahead on the list.”

Inter are looking for someone to either replace Edin Dzeko or lighten his physical workload as there is no other conventional striker in the squad at his level.

The other players who could be higher on the list for Inter include Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca or Fiorentina’s Dusan Vlahovic.

Andrea Belotti is out of contract with Torino in June 2022 and appears to have no desire to sign a new deal with the club.

Fabrizio Biasin also discussed Inter’s Denzel Dumfries who he believes will become a key player like Achraf Hakimi in the very near future.

“In my opinion beyond the limits he may have right now, I see a lot of potential in him. He will be able to do what Hakimi did, but for me he is destined to make a season worthwhile.”
