Edin Dzeko stands a chance of having his goal against FC Sheriff voted as the best from matchday three of the Champions League, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FcINternews, UEFA has chosen Edin Dzeko’s strike as one of the four best goals that were scored this week in the Champions League.

Fans can vote on the UEFA website as to which goal they think was the best, but the competition for Edin Dzeko is very fierce.

The other goals are an excellent volley from Liverpool’s Naby Keita against Atletico Madrid, Vinicius Junior’s mazy run and finish against Shakhtar Donetsk, and Paulinho’s clever strike from distance in Sporting Lisbon’s win over Besiktas in Turkey.

Edin Dzeko’s striker was a volley from close range after an Inter corner, which he guided perfectly into the top corner of FC Sheriff’s net and gave Inter the lead.
