Former Juventus player Dino Zoff has predicted Inter to win the match against his old team in Serie A on Sunday but admits that football can be unpredictable, according to a report in the Italian media.

Whilst speaking to Juventusnews24.com, Dino Zoff explained that it is a particularly important match for Juventus because they are trying to catch up to the league leaders in Serie A.

“It is certainly an important match, but like everyone else for Juve, who now need to catch up.”

Juventus had a particularly poor start to the season but have finally found some consistent form under Massimiliano Allegri.

Dino Zoff is also quick to point out that Inter have had some setbacks recently as well such as their Champions League form and the 3-1 defeat to Lazio in Rome.

“However, Inter have had some setbacks lately, so they too need to achieve a result. Playing in Milan I see the Nerazzurri slightly as favourites, but in football, you know, anything can happen.”

Both teams are coming into the match off the back of important European wins in midweek. Inter ran out 3-1 winners at San Siro over FC Sheriff, whilst Juventus beat Zenit thanks to a late Dejan Kulusevski header.
