Simone Inzaghi is expected to choose Matteo Darmian and Ivan Perisic to be his wing backs against Juventus on Sunday at San Siro, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.
As has been reported by Sky Sport 24 on television, the wing backs are one of the positions where there will be some changes from the FC Sheriff game.
Denzel Dumfries was given the chance to impress in that game but Simone Inzaghi clearly feels that Matteo Darmian can provide some more defensive stability for his team against the more lethal attack of Juventus.
Ivan Perisic is of course very experienced in this sort of match against a big team and will therefore be chosen over Federico Dimarco to run the left hand side.
Alessandro Bastoni will retake his position in the centre of defence and it is likely that Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko will be the strikers.
