Inter are prepared to offer a new deal to defender Federico Dimarco, with the club hoping to secure the 23-year-old’s future as he has established himself in the squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that an agreement is likely to be found quickly with the defender who returned from loan this summer.

Dimarco’s current deal takes him until the end of June 2023, with the 23-year-old earning around €600,000 net per season, but the Nerazzurri want to see him commit his future beyond this date.

Since his return from a loan spell with Hellas Verona in the summer, Dimarco has established himself as a regular at the club both from the start and from the bench, and the club are ready to offer him a new deal.

Dimarco is a childhood Nerazzurri fan who came through the youth ranks at the club, and an agreement is expected to be reached quickly and without trouble.
