Inter defender Federico Dimarco could start ahead of Ivan Perisic in the left-wing-back position for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Juventus at the San Siro.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 23-year-old is slightly ahead of Perisic in coach Simone Inzaghi’s thinking for the match though the coach has not yet made up his mind.

Dimarco started in the left-sided centre-back position against Sheriff Tiraspol in midweek in place of Alessandro Bastoni, but he could be moved up into the wing-back position usually taken by Perisic.

Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian is expected to return to the team on the right side, having been an unused substitute against Sheriff while Denzel Dumfries played in the position in his place.

The likes of Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic, Edin Dzeko, and Edin Dzeko are all virtually certain to start the match, as are captain Samir Handanovic and the usual back three of Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij, and Alessandro Bastoni.
