Hakan Calhanoglu is likely to start in midfielder for Inter in their Serie A clash with Juventus this evening at the San Siro ahead of Arturo Vidal.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, whose predicted starting eleven for the match includes the Turkish midfielder ahead of Vidal.

Vidal had reportedly been in contention for a starting spot given the quality of his performance in Tuesday’s Champions League triumph over Sheriff Tiraspol, in which he scored and assisted a goal.

However, the Chilean looks set to drop out of the team for Calhanoglu, who had been absent from the squad to face Sheriff as he recovered from an ankle bruise but looks ready to return to the starting eleven in this evening’s vital head-to-head clash.

The Gazzetta’s predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Dzeko, Lautaro
