Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto could be on the way out at his current club Lazio in the January transfer window, but Inter are not interested in signing him.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the Nerazzurri are prioritizing players in other profiles and would not likely move for the Spanish midfielder.

Alberto had reportedly wanted a move away from the Biancocelesti in the summer, with the 28-year-old refusing to show up for training at one point, but he stayed at the club in the end.

So far this season manager Maurizio Sarri has not started Alberto regularly and appears to be hesitant to play the Spaniard alongside key midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Alberto liked a tweet which was critical of Sarri, the latest episode to suggest that he is not content at his current club, and could leave with the Biancocelesti thought to value him at around €50 million.

However, the Nerazzurri are not interested in the midfielder despite reports linking them, and the clearest interest in his signature has come from clubs in Spain and England.
