Inter will hope that their attacking record can carry them against Juventus in this evening’s Serie A clash at the San Siro.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who highlight the gap in both teams’ attack going into the fixture and suggest that it could be key for the Nerazzurri.

Inter have scored 23 goals from eight matches so far in Serie A this season, making them the most prolific attack in the league so far.

The Bianconeri, meanwhile, have only managed twelve, making them the lowest-scoring team of the top seven in the table at this point.

Both teams lost key attackers in the summer in the form of Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo respectively, but while the Nerazzurri have continued to look like an attacking force, the Bianconeri have struggled to find the back of the net in the absence of their attacking talisman.

Last season the Bianconeri had scored sixteen goals by this stage of the season, with Ronaldo being responsible for nine of them, and they have not yet fully found the route to goal again.

Inter will hope that they can continue their free-scoring start to the season this evening, and that Juventus will continue to look less convincing in front of goal.
