Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to rotate his squad when the Nerazzurri travel to Tuscany to face Empoli on Wednesday.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the Nerazzurri boss will seek to use his squad and give some players a rest in the midst of the busy period in their fixture schedule.

On the left of the defense, Federico Dimarco could come in for Alessandro Bastoni, while the 23-year-old could also start at left-wing-back with Ivan Perisic moving over to the right should the coach decide to rest Matteo Darmian and not deem Denzel Dumfries ready for the start.

Joaquin Correa will be back in the squad, but is only expected to make an appearance from the bench rather than starting in attacking, while Danilo D’Ambrosio could get his first start of the season.

Hakan Calhanoglu impressed with his performance against Juventus yesterday evening, and could once again play on the left of the midfield.
