Inter directors remain angry after the penalty that was awarded against the Nerazzurri in their Serie A clash with Juventus yesterday evening at the San Siro.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the directors are at the club’s training ground where they continue to feel hard done by following the controversial VAR decision.

Inter’s players had been visibly upset following the decision to award a spot kick to the Bianconeri following a clumsy challenge by Denzel Dumfries on Alex Sandro, while coach Simone Inzaghi was handed a red card for his reactions.

At the club’s training ground the mood is still sour after the incident, which both the players and staff feel highlights the inconsistencies in the application of VAR after similar incidents have not had penalties given by the video assistant including a potential foul on Napoli midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa in the game immediately befroehand.
