Inter forward Joaquin Correa will be available for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Empoli in Tuscany on Wednesday.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who approached the Argentine outside the Nerazzurri’s training ground where he affirmed that he would be ready for the match.

Correa had missed yesterday evening’s match against Juventus at the San Siro through a recurrence of a muscle problem which he had initially picked up during the international break while with Argentina.

The 27-year-old had reportedly returned to full training today, however, and should be ready to be included in the squad for Wednesday’s match against Empoli.

When asked if he expected to be ready to face the newly promoted team during the midweek clash, the Argentine stated that he did.

Whether head coach Simone Inzaghi will turn to the former Lazio and Sevilla man remains to be seen, but he will be happy to have his forward options available to him.
