Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella was the Nerazzurri’s best player on the pitch in their 1-1 draw with Juventus yesterday evening, according to Italian media.

This from today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who awarded the 24-year-old a 7.5/10 score in their player ratings for the clash.

Barella put in another high-energy display in which he contributed to virtually every phase of the game and showed a high level of quality across his different tasks and did not hold back from exhausting himself to help the team, something noted by the newspaper.

Meanwhile, the likes of Edin Dzeko and Ivan Perisic were awarded solid 7/10 grades, marking them as standouts in a team where most of the performances were solid.

Denzel Dumfries was adjudged to be the Nerazzurri’s worst performer on the night with a 5/10 grade, especially in view of the late penalty he conceded, while striker Lautaro Martinez was also unable to earn any more than that score.
