Joaquin Correa is back in training for Inter ahead of Wednesday’s trip to Empoli, while Arturo Vidal is still out with illness but is expected back in the squad for tomorrow.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that Vidal is still missing through the flu-like symptoms he experienced yesterday but should be ready to return by tomorrow.

Correa and Vidal were the two players absent from the Nerazzurri’s squad yesterday as they drew 1-1 with Juventus at the San Siro.

The Argentine had picked up a minor muscle problem while on international duty, and a recurrence had ruled him out of participation against the Bianconeri.

The Chilean, meanwhile, had experienced flu-like symptoms yesterday morning and had to drop out of the team.

Both should be back in the squad as they prepare for the clash with Empoli in Tuscany, however, with manager Simone Inzaghi also expected to make changes ahead of the match including possibly handing starts to the likes of Correa, Alexis Sanchez, Andrea Ranocchia, and Danilo D’Ambrosio between the Empoli clash and the match against Udinese on the weekend.
