Inter-linked Torino captain Andrea Belotti is not set to depart from his club in January, though he could leave when out of contract next summer.

This according to his coach Ivan Juric, speaking in a press conference as reported by FCInterNews, who clarified that he does not expect the 27-year-old to leave during the January transfer window.

The Granata boss acknowledged that Belotti’s future may be away from his current club, with the striker’s contract set to expire at the end of June 2022 and no extension having been agreed.

The 27-year-old could agree to join a new club on a free transfer in the summer starting as early as January, although the Granata could also look to cash on him during the January window.

Juric’s words suggest, however, that Belotti will not be on his way before next summer, to Inter or to any of the other clubs interested in his signature.

“He won’t leavein January, he’ll see himself here till the end of the season,” he stated. “It’s useless to speculate, nothing will happen. I hope he will have a great season, then we will look each other in the eyes and he will choose his future. There will be no approaches, I hope he will have a good year and then we’ll see.”
