Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi would like the club to go in for the likes of Armando Izzo and Andrea Belotti this summer as he looks to see reinforcements to the squad.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Granata pair are both players who the coach is keen on as he looks to make targeted improvements in the January transfer market.

Inter have mostly relied on their first-choice back three as well as Federico Dimarco in defense, with very limited minutes given to the likes of Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio, and Aleksandar Kolarov.

Inzaghi does not appear to trust the trio, whose contracts are each expiring at the end of the season, and he could see Izzo as the right option to come into the team and provide cover in defensive areas.

Meanwhile, with Alexis Sanchez also looking to have only a limited role to play, the Nerazzurri coach would be interested in Granata captain Belotti, who is out of contract next summer, though they would likely have to go head to head with city rivals AC Milan for the 27-year-old’s signature.
