Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal has recovered from the flu-like symptoms that kept him out of Sunday’s clash with Juventus and will be back in the squad to face Empoli.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the 34-year-old is back in training and will be ready for the Nerazzurri’s trip to Tuscany to face the newly-promoted side tomorrow.

Vidal had reported flu-like symptoms on Sunday morning and had to drop out of the squad to face the Bianconeri while he recovered.

The Chilean looks to have quickly gotten over the problem however, and trained with the rest of the squad today in preparation for the Empoli match.

It remains to be seen whether Vidal will be in contention for a starting spot in the match, having impressed with his display against Sheriff Tiraspol last week before missing out on the Juventus clash through his unforunately-timed illness.
