Inter’s Stefan De Vrij & Denzel Dumfries Called Up To Netherlands Squad For Upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifers, Italian Media Reports

Inter players Stefan de Vrij and Denzel Dumfries have been called up to the Dutch national team by head coach Louis van Gaal for the team’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri duo are among the players in the squad for the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers against Norway and Montenegro during the November international break.

De Vrij has been a regular fixture in the Dutch national team since he impressed at the 2014 World Cup, while Dumfries has grown into his role on the right of the team over the past few years and especially enhanced his reputation with his performances at the Euros over the summer.

The complete Netherlands squad for the fixtures is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Bijlow, Drommel, Flekken, Krul.

Defenders: Aké, Blind, Van Dijk, Dumfries, Malacia, Rensch, Timber, De Vrij, Wijndal.

Midfielders: Gravenberch, F. De Jong, Klaassen, Koopmeiners, Lang, Til, De Roon, Wijnaldum.

Forwards: Berghuis, Bergwijn, Danjuma, Gakpo, L. De Jong, Malen, Depay, Weghorst.
