Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia and forward Alexis Sanchez are likely to start for the Nerazzurri in their Serie A clash with Empoli tomorrow evening.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who include the pair in their predicted starting eleven for the Nerazzurri’s trip to Tuscany to face the newly-promoted side.

Ranocchia has not yet made an appearance for the Nerazzurri this season, but head coach Simone Inzaghi is set to hand him his first start as he looks to give Stefan de Vrij a rest in the centre of defense.

Meanwhile, Sanchez is set to take the place of Edin Dzeko in attack, with the Chilean also ready to receive his first start of the campaign according to Sky.

In midfield, the broadcaster predicts that Nicolo Barella will drop out of the starting eleven for Matias Vecino and Hakan Calhanoglu will start, while Matteo Darmian and Federico Dimarco are predicted to start on the right and left respectively.
