Forward Alexis Sanchez and midfielder Arturo Vidal are both likely to start for Inter in their Serie A clash with Empoli this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include the Chilean duo in their predicted starting eleven for the match against the newly-promoted side.

Vidal had dropped out of the Nerazzurri squad for the Juventus game on Saturday due to having experienced flu-like symptoms the morning before the game.

However, the 34-year-old made a quick recovery from the minor illness, and he has been training with the squad so he will be ready to start on the Nerazzurri’s trip to Tuscany this evening.

Sanchez, meanwhile, has been restricted to appearances from the bench so far this season, but he could be handed his first start for Inter of the campaign alongside Lautaro Martinez with Simone Inzaghi set to place his faith in the Chilean as he looks to rotate his forward options.

The Gazzetta’s predicted eleven to start the match is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Dimarco; Lautaro, Sanchez.
