Inter’s veteran Italian defender Danilo D’Ambrosio was understandably pleased after the first half against Empoli in Match Day 10 of the Serie A at the Stadio Carlo Castellani.

The former Torino man, who made his season debut from start tonight, stopped by Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia to share his thoughts on the opening half away against Empoli.

“This was a response that arrives after training hard, always being at the disposal of the squad and the coach. Hugging Dumfries? We have attained certain results because we take things on as a team.

“We don’t leave anyone behind and we are all at the same level.”

Inter lead Empoli away after the first 45 minutes by 1-0 thanks to a goal from Danilo D’Ambrosio after 34 minutes.
