Inter defender Federico Dimarco has been heavily praised after his performance against Empoli on Wednesday night in Serie A, according to a report in the Italian print media.

As has been reported by Tuttosport in their player ratings for Inter, Federico Dimarco’s goal for the Nerazzurri was just part of an overall very impressive display.

He was given a seven out of 10 for his efforts as he put further pressure on Ivan Perisic in that left wing back position.

Another defender also received a high rating of 7.5. Danilo D’Ambrosio came into the back three to give Milan Skriniar a rest and he was solid throughout the game. He also opened the scoring in the first half with a header after a great one-two with Alexis Sanchez.

Many other ratings for the Inter players were around the six and 6.5 out of 10 mark as it was a tame affair after Samuele Ricci’s red card.
