Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin has said that Inter CEO Beppe Marotta will be staying with the club until 2025, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been tweeted by the journalist this evening, Inter and Beppe Marotta will continue their successful partnership until at least 2025, with an announcement expected in the coming weeks.

The tweet from Fabrizio Biasin reads: “Inter CEO Beppe Marotta to stay at Inter until 2025. Announcement in the coming weeks.”

Beppe Marotta has impressed many fans and pundits with how he has managed to navigate the Coronavirus pandemic and Inter’s very difficult financial situation over the summer.

He was directly praised by club President Steven Zhang during the shareholders meeting and clearly that praise has resulted in him being offered a new contract as CEO.

Beppe Marotta reacted quickly when Antonio Conte left the Nerazzurri at the end of the 2020/21 Scudetto winning season by poaching Simone Inzaghi from Lazio.

He also managed to raise enough money in player sales over the summer whilst giving the new coach a squad capable of competing.
