Italian journalist Sandro Sabatini has suggested that Inter could make some purchases during the January transfer window despite the financial situation of the club, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by FCInter1908, Sandr Sabatini explained that the financial position that Inter’s owners, Suning, are could be about to improve.

“Zhang will have to announce the liabilities in the next Board of Directors and there could also be an improvement in the condition of the Suning group in China.”

That will allow Inter’s CEO Beppe Marotta and Sporting Director Piero Ausilio to enter the January transfer market and try to improve the squad for the second half of the season.

“We will see how the situation will evolve that inevitably has an impact on Inter, even if the Nerazzurri with the ability of Marotta and Ausilio do not rule out returning to the market in January.”

Two players are named by Sandro Sabatini as being of interest to Inter. One is Nahitan Nandez who came extremely close to joining Inter from Cagliari in the summer. Another is Bartosz Bereszynski who plays for Sampdoria.

“The name that is back in fashion is that of Nandez. Attention also to Bereszynski, who has been talked about in recent days.”

Inter fans will be wanting to see a new striker come in who can add more quality and depth to that area of the squad so that Edin Dzeko is not overworked.
