Inter striker Joaquin Correa feels that he is fully fit and in form after his brace against Udinese, and is ready for the challenges to come.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster after the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win over Udinese this afternoon, the 27-year-old emphasized that the entire team is working well together and confident after getting the job done for the second match in a row.

Correa feels that any fitness problems are behind him, and projected a sense of optimism with two important matches to come virtually before the team can catch their breath.

“Unfortunately, injuries stopped me for a bit,” he explained, “but now I’m getting back into shape and I’m trying to help in any way I can.”

He went on, “Now let’s think about the Champions League, a match we must win. Then we’ll think about the derby, which will surely be a beautiful day.”

The Argentine admitted that “in the first half things were not succeeding, but I never stop trying. Now I continue on this path.”

Lastly, Correa characterized his relationship with teammate Lautaro Martinez as “Very good, as with everyone. We all want the same thing.”
