Edin Dzeko and Hakan Calhanoglu were the two players who were not up to the level of the rest of the team in the Nerazzurri’s 2-0 win over Udinese yesterday afternoon.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who gave both scores of 5.5/10 in the player ratings for the match in today’s print edition, while they also commended Andrea Ranocchia for his display on his first start of the season.

Dzeko is criticized for his lack of a goal threat despite linking the play well, while it is suggested that Calhanoglu was not decisive enough with his passing when he received the ball.

On the other hand, the Corriere named Joaquin Correa as the Nerazzurri’s man of the match for his match-winning second half brace, awarding him an 8/10 score.

Ranocchia is also singled out for praise, with a 7/10 score being given for a good display on his first start of the campaign.
