Inter forward Joaquin Correa has won two matches for the Nerazzurri already since his summer arrival, but he is yet to find consistent form.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who highlight the Argentine’s swings between match-winning decisiveness and indifferent play.

Correa bagged a second half brace against Udinese yesterday afternoon, enough to bring home three points along with the clean sheet kept by the team.

The 27-year-old has already managed a similar feat, with his two second half goals vital in a 3-1 win over Verona earlier in the campaign, coming off the bench to complete a comeback.

Correa has shown in these flashes why he is Simone Inzaghi’s man and why the coach wanted to reunite with the player he had enjoyed success with at Lazio.

However, he also showed in the first half against Udinese that he can let games drift by him, and has in truth struggled to impact games for much of his time at Inter so far apart from the two significant braces.

Correa will have to improve his displays on a match to match basis even if he has already shown that he can be the spark that wins his team points when he finds form.
