AC Milan forward Ante Rebic is a doubt to face Inter in the derby on Sunday as he is still recovering from an ankle sprain.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Croat will miss the Rossoneri’s Champions League clash with Porto tomorrow and could also be ruled out of the derby against Inter.

Rebic was not part of the group training session with the Rossoneri today, as he is yet to come back to fitness from the ankle problem which he has been carrying for the past couple weeks.

The 28-year-old could be unable to return in time to face the Nerazzurri over the wekeend, in which case Milan coach Stefano Pioli would have to turn to other options in attack.

Meanwhile, with Theo Hernandez’s suspension for picking up two yellow cards against Roma confirmed, the Rossoneri will have to wait and see if backup left-back Fode Ballo-Toure can return from an injury in time for the match or if they will have to rely on Pierre Kalulu at left-back for the fixture.
