Inter-linked Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic looks to be on his way out from La Viola in the near future, but it could be to the Premier League rather than to a Serie A club.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.it, the Serbian striker’s agent Davide Torchia clarified his situation and suggested that he could prefer a move to the English top flight for economic reasons.

Vlahovic’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June 2023 and he is virtually certain not to renew with the Tuscan club.

The 21-year-old’s future is uncertain, though there is no lack of interest in him given his form in Serie A last season and at the beginning of this campaign.

The Nerazzurri had reportedly been considering Vlahovic as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku in the summer and still maintain an interest in his signature, though Torchia’s words suggest that they would likely be priced out of a move for him.

“I don’t think Vlahovic will leave in January,” he stated. “In June he can go to Juventus, but also to many other clubs If he focuses on  the technical aspects then it may be okay to stay at Fiorentina to continue his growth. If he makes an economic one, Italians we are automatically out, and then he has to go to play in a league that has more money than Serie A which is the Premier League.”
