Inter trio Arturo Vidal, Matteo Darmian, and Federico Dimarco are set to start against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Champions League this evening as coach Simone Inzaghi faces three main selection dilemmas.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the trio will start the match ahead of the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu, Denzel Dumfries, and Alessandro Bastoni respectively.

Inzaghi has rotated his squad significantly during the past few matches as he has sought to keep his side fresh and avoid fatigue to important players during a busy period of the schedule.

None of Vidal, Darmian, or Dimarco started the Nerazzurri’s match against Udinese over the weekend, but the three are set to make their return to the lineup for the vital clash with Sheriff.

The Corriere’s predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Dimarco; Darmian, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Perisic; Dzeko, Lautaro.
