Midfield duo Arturo Vidal and Marcelo Brozovic have been praised by the press for their performance against FC Sheriff on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As was handed out by Tuttosport following the 3-1 victory, Marcelo Brozovic was given the highest score out of anyone in the Inter squad for his contributions.

He was given a rating of 7.5 out of 10 and was labelled as irreplaceable. It was he who opened the scoring with an excellent strike early in the second half, which was his first ever Champions League goal.

Arturo Vidal was also praised for his relentless energy in midfield and desire to win the ball back for his team. He received a rating of 7 out of 10.

Milan Skriniar also received 7 out of 10 because he was defensively solid throughout, albeit with little work to do, and he scored Inter’s second goal to increase the team’s confidence.
