The referee for Inter’s clash with AC Mikan on Sunday will be Daniele Doveri who has not refereed an Inter game so far this season, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FcInternews, Daniele Doveri has not refereed an Inter match since the 1-1 draw last season in April against Napoli, one of the games that helped secure the Scudetto for Inter under Antonio Conte.

Inter has a relatively mixed level of success with Daniele Doveri in charge of their matches. He has been involved 22 times before for Inter games. They have won nine of them, drawn seven, and lost the other six.

Turning that record into 10 wins on Sunday could be integral if the Nerazzurri are to remain in the race to protect their Serie A crown.

Inter can move to within four points of AC Milan if they win the Derby della Madonnina.
