Two Inter strikers have been called up by Argentina for the upcoming international break in November, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FcInternews, Lautaro Martinez and Joaquin Correa will be with the Argentina squad in mid-November assuming they do not get injured in the near future.

The Inter duo are an important part of Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni’s plans to make sure his side qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The two matches will be played on the 13th and 17th of November and will be against Uruguay and Brazil. Argentina has the chance to mathematically book its place in the World Cup during this international break.

Inter will be hoping there is no repeat of the situation that saw South American players return back from the previous international break extremely close to the kick off of Inter’s next Serie A fixture.
