Inter are hoping to ramp up discussions with Marcelo Brozovic and his entourage to secure the midfielder’s future with the club, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Croatian midfielder still has not fully committed to Inter which is concerning given he is out of contract in June 2022.

The deal is now believed to be in the hands of Marcelo Brozovic’s father and lawyer, but Inter does not know if their proposal will be enough to keep him at the club.

It is believed that the offer made is similar to what has been offered to Nicolo Barella. €4.5 million per season which will rise throughout the contract to around €6 million.

The Croatian and his entourage could be looking for €5 million to start with or even €5.5 million. Tottenham Hotspur are now linked with the player as Antonio Conte has become their coach.
