Inter midfielder Arturo Vidal is happy with his performance after he helped the Nerazzurri to a convincing 3-1 win over Sheriff Tiraspol in a vital Champions League Clash.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset after the match, the Chilean gave his immediate reaction to the match and spoke about his performance.

Vidal made his first start for the Nerazzurri since the victory over Sheriff at the San Siro two weeks ago, with a mild illness having kept him out of the Juventus clash, and having come off the bench against Empoli and Udinese.

The 34-year-old impressed, helping Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella to control the midfield in a convincing display that saw him continue his strong season for the club.

He is happy with how he performed and feels that his display gave a good reflection of his best qualities and who he is as a player.

On the significance of the performance and the result, he stated that “We needed a match like this, we are on the right path to get out of the group and move forward in the Champions League.”

And on his performance, the midfielder said that “I’m happy. I played the way I like to, today I felt good.”
