Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has expressed the confidence that he has in his team to find a way to score goals, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media last night.
Speaking to Sport Mediaset after the 3-1 victory over FC Sheriff in Tiraspol, Marcelo Brozovic explained that the team know they will score as long as they play the way they did on Wednesday night.
“We played really well, it was a great test, we moved the ball well. In the first half we missed 2-3 important chances, but if we play like this we know we will score, 100%.”
inter were dominant in the first half and had a number of great opportunities to take the lead. It was level at the break but Marcelo Brozovic struck from the edge of the box in the 54th minute to give the Nerazzurri the lead.
Goals from Milan Skriniar and Alexis Sanchez then wrapped up a vital three points for Inter.
Marcelo Brozovic is currently in the process of negotiating a new contract with Inter but there does seem to be a delay on the proceedings.
