Italian football journalist Paolo Condo has praised the diversity of options in Inter’s squad after they beat FC Sheriff 3-1 on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.

Whilst speaking on Sky Sport 24, via FCInter1908, Paolo Condo explained that there are some fringe players at Inter that are growing in importance and quality as the season continues.

One player he singled out for praise was Federico Dimarco as he went to Hellas Verona to gain more experience before becoming a regular player for Inter.

“Dimarco managed to gain experience and then came back. It is a complicated thing to come back. Have Inter found the balance? He found new, fresh goals.”

There was also a mention for Joaquin Correa who may now found some form for Inter after his two goals against Udinese. Paolo Condo said: “Correa against Udinese, he is part of Inter’s transfer window but he had seen himself play well in Verona and then disappeared a little.”

In the game against Empoli, it was Federico Dimarco and Danilo D’Ambrosio who came into the team and scored the two decisive goals.

This impressed Paolo Condo who said: “The goals of Dimarco, of D’Ambrosio, I really like the variety of Inter’s options with so many different solutions.”

The final player to be praised was Milan Skriniar for his big game performances: “Skriniar is a weapon., often in important matches.”
